We are looking for a Senior Pricing Actuary (m/f/d), based in Munich or London.

The Impact You Will Have

The Pricing team drives the global implementation of costing and pricing excellence for all commercial businesses.
To advance with this approach, Allianz is seeking a senior pricing actuary to actively shape and reposition the Group's pricing capabilities in Mid-Corporate. In this role, you will define Mid-Corporate pricing excellence, and you will collaborate on various activities to support Allianz operating entities globally in excellence achievement.

Some of your specific responsibilities could include:

• Lead end-to-end pricing analytics projects, employing analytical methods to streamline data processes and extract insights.
• Develop agile Mid-Corporate costing/pricing tools and oversee their global implementation, including maintenance and parameter updates.
• Drive the establishment of the 'Allianz Technical Price System' across entities, supporting operations and knowledge transfer via dedicated projects.
• Continuously enhance and deliver Functional Pricing Reviews, Mid-Corporate Deep Dives, and Technical Price Certification.
• Design and execute training programs for Commercial Lines Pricing as part of the P&C Academy.

What You’ll Bring to the Role

• Profound expertise in a statistical computing language like Python, SAS, or R, accompanied by solid programming experience.
• Good knowledge of WTW Radar.
• Demonstrated P&C pricing expertise gained through leading pricing activities in the P&C (re)insurance sector.
• Ability to bridge actuarial pricing challenges with data-driven solutions, with experience in applying modern machine learning models, ideally within actuarial contexts.
• Exceptional conceptual and strategic capabilities, paired with flexibility, creativity, and innovation skills.
• Master’s or Ph.D. in Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Effective team collaboration, training, and guidance skills, coupled with strong communication and listening abilities.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English, and knowledge of German is advantageous.
